Description
1) Problem: Most people are lazy and don’t want to use their brains—they just want rewards. The Cymetica platform is complex. It has very good and beautiful guides like https://cymetica.com/how-it-works
, but those are not interactive. When people start following these guides, they get stuck on some step because they need to think more, and there is no reward for it.
2) Goal: The goal is to make the whole process enjoyable with a reward at the end, instead of forcing users to fully understand the platform from the beginning.
3) How to solve it? Interactive guides with rewards.
4) How will this work? First of all, the platform is fragmented. On one page you browse bots, then you open their profile on a different page, then there are backtest pages split between https://cymetica.com/backtest and https://cymetica.com/backtest-labs
, which are the main hurdles. There are many unknown terms, and people don’t understand what everything on the backtest pages means. This usually stops them from continuing the learning process—they need to think too much, which is not enjoyable.
There should be a main CyMetica Terminal page where everything can be done on a single page. Once this page is opened, there would be a locked reward (e.g., EVBT points) and a button to start the interactive guide. After the user clicks “Start Interactive Guide,” every step should be enjoyable and require minimal thinking, and after completion they will receive rewards and gain a strong understanding of how to use the platform.
5) CyMetica Terminal structure: This applies mainly to desktop browsers. On the left side, there would be a pinned NEXUS AI chat acting as an assistant during the process if users have any questions. At the top, there would be a horizontal panel with tabs: Bots, Algos & Skills, and My Bots (ready to deploy). There would also be a pinned detailed window on the right, so if the user clicks on something (e.g., a bot), it would show details such as trading history, profits, etc. In the middle, there would be the main working backtest terminal where users assemble their bots.
The interactive guide mode would guide the user step by step in an enjoyable and easy-to-understand way. Each step would blur the rest of the page so only the current step is visible. During each step, contextual tooltips would guide the user, clearly highlighting what to click and explaining the action.
Step 1: pick a bot, click it, read the details, and if the user likes it, drag and drop it into the main working panel.
Step 2: pick algos and skills. In the NEXUS chat window, there would be a context button—if enabled, the page would enter a selective mode where if the user clicks on something, they can directly ask NEXUS AI about it and it will understand the context. This helps if the user doesn’t understand something.
Step 3: run a backtest. This is the most complex step, so it would contain multiple substeps explaining everything about backtesting, and then the user runs a backtest.
Step 4: a new feature for backtesting—a button to find the optimal strategy. NEXUS would run different iterations in the background with various combinations of bots, algos, and skills and suggest the optimal configuration. This feature would normally be paid (around $5), but for the first tutorial it would be free.
Step 5: the user saves the bot configuration, which then appears in the “My Bots (ready to deploy)” section.
Step 6: the user goes to My Bots, selects a bot, and sees two main buttons—deploy with paper trading or real money.
Step 7: after deployment, the user receives their rewards.
6) More thoughts: These interactive guides can be applied to all core Cymetica pages like Perpetuals and Winner Takes All. In the user profile, users would receive badges (achievements) for completing each interactive tutorial. There could be an RPG-like skill tree, where users need to complete certain guides before accessing others. Each badge would grant additional rewards. There could also be achievements like running a bot for one week with 10% profit, winning 5 Winner Takes All bets, etc. A lot of creativity can be applied when designing this badge system.
7) Result: Users who don’t want to think too much and are mainly motivated by rewards will come to Cymetica and enjoy it like a game. They will want to unlock new badges and earn more rewards, just like in an RPG where players unlock new skills in a skill tree plus they will gain top knowlage of the CyMetica platform.
